THE PROBLEM
Flux is an underground electronic music festival known for its serene, outdoor daytime sets. However, their previous branding relied heavily on dark, neon, cyberpunk aesthetics that felt disconnected from the actual festival experience.
THE SOLUTION
We completely inverted the expected music festival aesthetic. We designed a "Warm Editorial" visual system using cream backgrounds, elegant serif typography, and soft terracotta accents. The campaign focused on the ideas of "Sonic Architecture" and natural light, matching the festival's daytime ethos.
THE RESULT
The new aesthetic attracted a broader, more design-conscious demographic. The festival sold out 48 hours after launching the new site, a first for the organization.
